Precautions and care instructions for “matou-磨刀-”

Ceramic is not a metal, but a type of pottery. Therefore, please note that the blade may chip or crack if subjected to strong impact or excessive force, such as twisting or bending.
For the above reason, please note that the blade may chip or crack if you try to cut hard objects (*).
Do not clean with a metal scrubber. Ceramic is harder than metal, so using a metal scrubber may cause the scrubber to wear down and the blade to become stained black with metal powder.
*Pumpkin, frozen foods (partially thawed foods), mochi, meat and fish with bones, crab, corn, fruit seeds, etc.
