Traditional Japanese craftsmanship
The hibukuro of "ANCOH"—the softly glowing paper shade—was made possible through the craftsmanship of traditional Japanese chochin artisans.
(Hibukuro refers to the washi paper section of the lantern that holds the light.)

The lantern shade, created with the exquisite craftsmanship of skilled artisans, is characterized by its toughness and resistance to wear and tear.
Its structure, which is resistant to deterioration even after repeated opening and closing, is ideal for the “ANCOH” model, which can be folded and carried.
The “ANCOH” features not only the water-resistant properties of washi paper but also a unique adhesive formula used for bonding the bamboo ribs, ensuring that the paper and ribs remain securely attached even when exposed to rain.
The latest device that fits in 27mm
Another factor contributing to the ultimate thinness is the latest ultra-compact devices.
All device components, including LED modules, solar panels, and batteries, are housed in a space measuring just 27 mm.
The interior of the lantern shade contains no components such as light bulbs, allowing it to be folded flat.

"ANCOH" is powered by a rechargeable battery, so it is cable-free and can be carried anywhere.
It can be used like a traditional lantern with candles, but there is no need to worry about fire hazards.
The handle is wrapped in rattan to prevent slippage when held in the hand.
In addition, there is an indentation in the center, making it ideal for hanging.
Splash proof
Not only the lantern shade, but also the device itself is water resistant.
It is equipped with splash-proof* performance, so sudden rain during camping is not a problem for a short period of time.
*This product is splash-proof, not waterproof. Please avoid exposing it to heavy rain or prolonged exposure to light rain, as this may cause malfunction.

Equipped with solar panels, "ANCOH" can store sunlight and illuminate the nighttime landscape.
When used with a full charge, it can be lit continuously for approximately 5 hours at maximum brightness.

We recommend charging the device using a USB Type-C cable before use, then supplementing the charge with sunlight.

Freely adjustable light color and brightness
All of the lighting functions of ANCOH can be operated with this single dial.
The color of the light can be adjusted from a crisp, refreshing daylight color (6000K) to a calm, warm incandescent color (1600K) similar to firelight.
This makes it easy to create the ideal lighting for any time of day or occasion.
The light can be adjusted to suit the time of day or occasion.
ANCOH is equipped with a dimmable LED base developed independently by goyemon, inspired by the relationship between sunlight color and brightness throughout the day.
In order to create a natural light that feels comfortable, the design changes both the color and brightness of the light, with bright white light during the day and dim red light at sunset.
Furthermore, when dimmed to the lowest brightness setting, the light flickers like a candle,
allowing you to relax even more before going to bed.
Smart Magnetic Switch to Conserve Power
Another unique feature of ANCOH is its open–close switching mechanism.
When the lantern is closed, a magnetic sensor is activated, automatically turning off the light—much like extinguishing a candle by covering the flame.
This intuitive function helps conserve battery without any extra effort.
When reopened, the lantern lights up again with the exact same brightness setting as before it was closed.

The main material of the fire bag is paper (Japanese paper), which is very delicate. Strong friction or contact with sharp objects may cause it to tear, so be sure to fold it and place it in the included case when transporting it.

This product is not waterproof. Do not use it underwater or wash it with water. Also, do not charge it while it is wet. Additionally, avoid repeatedly opening and closing it while wet or using it continuously in an environment where it is exposed to direct rain.

This product contains magnets. Please avoid placing it near magnetic cards or electronic devices.

When charging with solar power, make sure the panel is not in the shade.

Do not use or store near open flames. This may cause resin parts to soften, or the firebox to burn or ignite.

A：It is water-resistant against rain and splashes, but not fully waterproof.

Q：Is a charger included?
A：Yes, it comes with a charging cable, so no additional purchase is necessary.
Q：Can the light stay on while charging?
A：Yes, it can be used while charging.
However, doing so may shorten the battery’s lifespan, so we do not recommend it.
Q：The Lantern shade (hibukuro) is torn. Can it be repaired?
A：The hibukuro can be replaced, but due to water-resistant treatment, repairs are not possible.
